Our Story
Our Journey
Child Care And Youth Empowerment Foundation (CCAYEF) is a non-profit charitable organization that was established in 2008.
The organization was founded by three individuals who were passionate about the welfare of children and young people in Uganda being nurtured holistically to realize their full growth and development potential.
Since its establishment, CCAYEF has been working tirelessly to provide essential services to children and young people in Uganda, creating lasting positive impact in their lives and building a better future.

Focus Area 1
Child Care
At CCAYEF, Child Care is a key focus area dedicated to providing holistic support for children during their early and formative years. This includes nurturing their physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development through responsive care, safe environments, and age-appropriate programs that lay a strong foundation for lifelong well-being.
Focus Area 2
Youth Empowerment
At CCAYEF, Youth Empowerment is centered on equipping young people with the skills, resources, and opportunities they need to reach their full potential and become active, engaged members of their communities. Through targeted programs and strategic initiatives, we foster leadership, enhance capacity, and support meaningful youth participation and skills development.
